Notes

An optical spectrum of LIN 9 taken at quiescence reveals a K5 red giant with emission lines confirming its symbiotic star nature. It is the first Magellanic symbiotic star proven to show Z And outbursts. During outburst, the estimated hot component luminosity is 3165 L⊙, compared to 225 L⊙ at quiescence (Miszalski et al., 2014).
