Classified as a symbiotic star candidate in the HASH Database of PNe (Parker et al., 2016), likely based on the study of Allen (1974). Additionally, it has been identified as a Mira variable (Samus´ et al., 2017) and a long-period variable (Mowlavi et al., 2018).
