Suspected of having a symbiotic nature by Jia et al. (2023) based on the machine-learning search. In the paper designated as LAMOST J043835.29+261038.4. The spectra from the SDSS survey suggest an accreting-only nature. However, the object was previously classified as a YSO (e.g., Luhman et al., 2010). The Gaia data confirm main-sequence classification.
