Suggested as a symbiotic X-ray binary by Nespoli et al. (2010), the association with the red giant was rejected by Bodaghee et al. (2012), who proposed a wind-accreting high-mass X-ray binary as a possible explanation. The system has an orbital period of 4.2 days (Corbet et al., 2010).
