Mentioned as a possible planetary nebula around a symbiotic star in Kondratyeva (2005) based on the detection of TiO bands in the spectrum. Previous observations in Sabbadin et al. (1983) showed a blue continuum and a low-excitation emission spectrum ([O II], [N II], [S II], Balmer lines of hydrogen). The object is also classified as a compact young planetary nebula in the HASH Database of PNe (Parker et al., 2016).
