Suspected to be a symbiotic binary in Iłkiewicz & Mikołajewska (2017) based on the position of the star in the [O III] diagnostic diagrams. The infrared colors place this star near the region occupied by symbiotics. However, Hajduk (2020) failed to detect a red giant in the object and therefore reclassified the object as a young planetary nebula.
