Classified as a bona-fide symbiotic star in the study of post-AGB stars conducted by Szczerba et al. (2007). It is listed as a confirmed symbiotic star in SIMBAD (Wenger et al., 2000). Additionally, the star is also included in the catalogs of RR Lyr stars provided by Gavrilchenko et al. (2014) and Bramich et al. (2014). However, recent analysis by Merc et al. (2021), based on spectroscopic data and available photometry, proposed that the object is a W UMa variable, with a period of approximately 0.33 days.
