Our observational facility (officially called the technological station of the Institute of Physics) named Kolonica observatory is situated in the areal of Astronomical Observatory on Kolonica Saddle operated by Vihorlat Observatory in Humenné.
The observatory is located in the northeastern part of Slovakia, in the area of Dark-Sky Park Poloniny, a place with the best conditions for astronomical observations in Slovakia.
All necessary infrastructure for observations and accommodation is available.
